148 singers in the Mindanao region of the Philippines are joining the audition for the Mindanao Virtual Idol 2020 singing competition hosted by Mabuhay Entertainment. The audition started on July 17, 2020 and was open for 30 days.
"We were very surprised, excited and humbled by the number of singers who are auditioning for this competition. This is very unexpected. This just showcases the amount of talent that we have in Mindanao. And because of that we are raising the prizes", says Joe Dumadag, Executive Producer of the show.
Mindanao Virtual Idol 2020 is the first of the multiple series of events that will be hosted by Mabuhay Entertainment. The winner of the contest will receive 10,000 pesos cash prize. There are also so many other prizes that can be won with an estimated combined total of 35,000 pesos in Cash, GCash or Cellphone Loads.
